Since 1992, the research team of the Peatland Ecology Research Group is headed by Dr. Line Rochefort of the department of plant science from the Université Laval (Quebec, Canada). Line Rochefort also held, from 2003 to 2018, the NSERC's Industrial Research Chair in Peatland Management.
