Arctic wetlands

Alongside the work on ecology, dynamics, conservation, restoration and rehabilitation of boreal peatlands, the Peatland Ecology Research Group leads since the 1990's studies on wetlands in the Arctic Canada, particularly at the Bylot Island, Nunavut. This work is in collaboration with members of the Centre d'études nordiques, especially with the teams of  Gilles Gauthier (Département de biologie, Université Laval) and Esther Lévesque (Département de chimie-biologie, Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières).
