On November 17, 2022, in Drummondville, Quebec, Line Rochefort, full professor and researcher at Université Laval, received the 2022 Pierre-Dansereau Award from the Association des biologistes du Québec (ABQ). She was nominated by her former student Patrick Faubert (Université du Québec à Chicoutimi) and a biologist friend, Yves Leblanc (AECOM Consultants Inc.), with the help of Claire Boismenu (PERG, U. Laval).

This award recognizes Line Rochefort's exceptional contribution to research, teaching and community service for biodiversity, particularly that of peatlands and the very special flora that compose them. Her influence goes far beyond Quebec!
